Shopping on Our Island

You can stroll the beaches of Ambergris Caye or trek around the little town of San Pedro looking for souvenirs from daylight until the streets roll up at night.

Island vendors offer food, clothing, art, jewelry, wines and spirits and much more.  You can find furniture made from exotic woods, bamboo, grass, palm trees and wicker.  Blend in with the culture with everything from Cuban cigars to spa treatments.  Enjoy the Arts and take home some painting, photos, carvings, ceramics or even a painted coconut.

On Ambergris Caye, you can find local items or items from all over the region including Guatemalan, Mexican, Honduran, Cuban and Caribbean.

We have an incredible variety of  crafts made in Belize by the local Maya, Mennonites and Garifuna, pronounced as ('gah-RIF-oo-na') are descendants of Carib, Arawak and West African people.

And yes, there are also the souvenir shops with more Plastic Toys, T-Shirts, Towels and Elvis Paintings than any child could hope to carry home.
